Cajun seasoning is a bold and zesty blend of spices inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Louisiana. This versatile seasoning adds a lively kick to meats, seafood, vegetables, and rice dishes, bringing that authentic Cajun flair and a taste of Southern comfort right to your kitchen. This blend is one of my favorites. Brings back memories of my time living in the South.
Ingredients:
Organic smoked paprika, kosher salt, organic garlic powder, organic onion powder, organic black pepper, white pepper, organic Greek oregano, organic thyme, and organic cayenne pepper.
Ways to Use Cajun Seasoning:
Spicy Cajun Chicken:Rub on chicken breasts or thighs before grilling or baking for bold flavor.
Cajun Shrimp:
Toss shrimp in Cajun seasoning and sauté for a quick, zesty meal.
Roasted Veggies:
Sprinkle over potatoes, bell peppers, or cauliflower before roasting for a spicy twist.
Jambalaya Rice Dishes:
Add to rice, beans, or jambalaya for authentic Southern taste. My personal
favorite!
Cajun Fries:Season homemade or store-bought fries with Cajun seasoning for a flavorful snack.
Recipe: Cajun-Spiced Shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
1. Toss shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and garlic until well coated.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
3. Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
