3 Ways to Cook with Savory Umami Bouillon™

These are simple ways to use it in real meals.


Weeknight Mushroom Gravy

Comforting and deeply savory

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 2 tsp Savory Umami Bouillon™

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 1 Tbsp butter or olive oil

  • 1 tsp flour (optional, for thicker gravy)

Instructions

  1. Sauté mushrooms in butter until browned.

  2. Stir bouillon into hot water.

  3. Pour into pan and simmer 2–3 minutes.

  4. Sprinkle flour if desired and cook 1 more minute.

Serve over potatoes, toast, rice, or vegetables.


Savory Ground Meat or Bean Filling

Perfect for bowls, wraps, and meal prep

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat or 2 cups cooked beans

  • ½ cup hot water

  • 1½ tsp Savory Umami Bouillon™

Instructions

  1. Cook meat or warm beans in skillet.

  2. Add bouillon dissolved in hot water.

  3. Simmer 3–4 minutes until absorbed.

Use for tacos, grain bowls, stuffed vegetables, or lettuce wraps.



Rich Pan Sauce for Steak or Vegetables

Restaurant flavor in seconds

Ingredients

  • ½ cup hot water

  • 1 tsp Savory Umami Bouillon™

  • Pan drippings from seared meat or vegetables

  • 1 tsp butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Remove food from hot pan.

  2. Pour in bouillon mixture.

  3. Scrape browned bits and simmer briefly.

  4. Finish with butter and spoon over meal.
